so far approx. 15,000
training hours completed in the clubs Section for Service and Working Dogs (GDR, until 1990), Association for German Shepherd Dogs, Freital dog sports club and the BRH search and rescue dog team, as handlers, training directors, instructors and training assistants. Anyone who does the math arrives at more hours on the training field than many a vocational training program.approx. 250 to 300
dogs and their people accompanied in the clubs.Jörg as protection work decoy 25 years
Over 25 years as a protection work decoy in protection dog sport, Jörg received around 45,000 training bites from dogs in approx. 3,500 hours (attention! „odd fact“ 😉 ), always building up and accompanying the dogs in the protection work department fairly and empathetically. Roughly calculated, that makes approx. 1,500 tonnes of dog that have hung on his left arm over the years. The arm is still holding up bravely and is still attached.additionally since 1995 approx. 600 to 800
dogs and their owners advised, schooled and trained in the dog school and accompanied for a part of their way.so far over 160
seminars for approx. 3,000 employees on occupational safety when handling dogs, among others for Deutsche Post, DRK and ASB, in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Berlin.so far approx. 2,000
hours of social therapy visits with their own dogs in nursing homes and therapeutic institutions.so far approx. 5,000
hours of project teaching, all-day programs, hiking days, remedial teaching, camps, further education and other events on dogs, wolves, wilderness, wilderness education, survival, nature crafts, bees, reading and math support and more at regional and nationwide schools, special-needs schools and other educational institutions, teaching approx. 400 students year-round and approx. 2,500 students in project work.All figures are approximate values from almost four decades of practice.
